Location & Geology

Ashburton's 13 sq. km Hackett Project in northwest B.C.'s prolific Sheslay district includes a very strategic 8.5 sq. km claim package covering the entire eastern border of Doubleview Capital's Hat Property where a significant Cu-Au porphyry discovery was announced in January, 2014. Volcanic-sedimentary assemblages and intrusive rocks at the adjoining Hackett and Hat properties are similar and are believed to be part of the Stuhini group.  A large gossanous zone was observed during flyovers along the western portion of the Hackett, and this area will be the target of planned first-ever drilling.

Historical Ground Work

Historical aeromagnetics identified a magnetic high on the southern portion of the Hackett claims (B.C. Minfile report No. 18158, 1988). Notably, approximately 300 metres west of the Hackett, on the Doubleview side of the adjoining southwestern border, reported historical assays from the Hoey showing included high-grade gold up to 21.3 g/t (Minfile #14802).

Adjoining Doubleview

Doubleview discovery holes HAT-08 and HAT-11 (see DBV news release January 20, 2014) were drilled approximately 1,000 metres west of the Hackett boundary along a broad NW/SE trending corridor. Doubleview has expanded its Lisle Zone discovery since early 2014, completing 24 drill holes (see DBV news releases November 11, 2015, and November 30, 2015).  Meanwhile, Garibaldi Resources' current first-ever drill program at Grizzly Central is creating additional awareness of the potential of this huge and under-explored district to develop into a world class mining camp.
